Connections in 3-speed cooler motor are very easy, the condition is that you should have complete knowledge about it. In this post, we have told how you can make connections to 3 speed cooler motor, Jai connections will be with a rotary switch.

3 Speed Cooler Motor Connection

In a 3 Speed Cooler Motor, the motor windings carry a total of 6 WIRES, with one wire as the Common wire, and the other as 3 speed, and two capacitors. The blue wire is the common wire. The black wire is of high speed. The red wire is a medium speed, and the white wire is slow speed, in which the cooler runs the slowest, and the black wire runs the cooler fastest.

The rotary switch of the cooler motor has 4 points.

ONE NUMBER IS P ( This is input supply point )
TWO NUMBER IS 1 ( This is a High-speed point )
THREE NUMBER IS 2 ( This is a Medium speed point )
FOUR NUMBER IS 3 ( This is a Slow speed point )

3 speed cooler motor wiring

As we have shown in the diagram, we will attach a main supply wire from the back to the P point of the rotary switch, and place the black wire of the cooler on the number 1 part. And will place the red colored wire at the 2nd number point. And we will put white wire at the 3rd number point.

And two wires will come out from the winding of the cooler which will be the capacitor, one of these wires will go through the straight starting winding and the other wire as shown in the diagram, the running will be connected with the red wire, if you want it will be in white color. Can also be wired with wire.
